Children and Young People
We believe that the gospel is good news for all. We are grateful to God for His work amongst the children and young people of our congregation and hope to see our work amongst this age group grow. Our Sunday Club groups are designed to help youngsters understand the Christian faith and to put their trust in Jesus. Each week we aim to teach the bible in a fun and relevant way, allowing the bible to be our guide and our authority and praying that the word of Christ will dwell in us richly.
We have groups for the following ages:
Climbers: 3 - 6 years
Explorers: 7-11 years
Pathfinders: 11-14 years
Our group for 14-18's is called B.Y.G (The Bridge Youth Group) and meets on Friday nights at The Rectory from 7pm-9pm.
Climbers, Explorers and Pathfinders meet in their groups during the morning service every Sunday apart from the 4th Sunday of the month which is an All Age Service. At this service the children and young people take an active part in the service through songs, sketches, readings and prayers.
Each November the young people are given the opportunity to take over and run the morning service. Pathfinders and B.Y.G. occasionally attend youth services at other churches. They are also encouraged to attend Cumbria Christian Youth Camp which takes place every summer near Keswick.

Drama
Drama plays a significant role in the life of our church and our ministry to our children and young people.
We put together a play every Christmas and July. |

Young People
We are privileged to have some very gifted young people in our congregation who are able to act and lead services. We provide opportunities for them to use and develop their gifts in our worship.
